Scope and Sequence

We've built the scope and sequence to be flexible according to your needs. All the lessons have been written in weekly modules so depending on how long you summer school is, you can pick and choose how many weeks you would like to implement. We would recommend that everyone does weeks 1-3 but then choose between weeks 4, 5 and 6 after that.

• Week 1: a-z introduction, focus on c, a, d, h, m, t, Blending CVC words
• Week 2: focus on s, i, n, g, o, p, e, u, k, ck, Vowels, Blending and Segmenting CVC words
• Week 3: focus on l, f, b, j, r, g, v, w, x, y, z, Syllables and Onset and Rimes
• Week 4: focus on ng, sh, ch, th, Blending and Segmenting
• Week 5: focus on Onsets and Rimes
• Week 6: focus on Consonant Blends
